Colonel (IDF res.) Yalon Farhi was elected to the MicroVision board in September 2016. A colonel in the Israeli Defense Forces (reserves), Col. Farhi has served since 1998 as a motivational lecturer and educator at the Bnei David Institute, a pre and post army academy in Israel. From 1998 to January 2016, Col. Farhi worked as an administrative manager for El-Ami, a non-governmental organization in Israel. From 1988 to 1992 Col. Farhi served as a private security consultant to several security companies in Israel. In addition, for the past thirty years, Col. Farhi has been the owner of a private gardening and land development services company based in Israel, and he is currently a director at DarioHealth Corp. (NASDAQ DRIO) Col. Farhi received a degree in Education Studies and holds a Teaching Certificate from the Moreshet Yaacov College in Jerusalem.
